Welcome to the official 1968

Cape Town Vespa Club Fish River Canyon Expedition.

Follow the Great Fish River Canyon Vespa Expedition all the way from the inception of the challenge to take Vespa scooters through the canyon to current sightings of the scooter named ‘Vidi’. After nearly 50 years Vidi remains mostly intact, resting peacefully among the rocks. She is a symbol of the teams endurance and tenacity. Vidi has become a landmark for trekkers in this majestic natural wonder.

Although quite insignificant in the Canyons grandeur we’d like to think that Vidi and our Expedition have become a small part of the Fish River Canyons story.
